Hell of a long question, for me-my gun collection is in a revolutionary state of flux.
I have sold my M4 upper, because the ballistics of the 14.5 aren't what I want from the 5.56. That preban lower will become my Preban M16A2/A1 clone-with mini Acog atop A1 upper receiver-A2 barrel with Phantom Flash hider.
Then there's the "Twinsies" project- two consecutively serial numbered PWA preban lower receivers. RRA 6 position M4 stocks, Ambi Ergo Grips, gappers, 16" Bushmaster Superlight barrels, with Phantom FH, .675 PRI folding front sights, ARMS #40 folding rear sights on RRA A3 uppers. ARMS #22 30mm rings, with Trijicon Tripower(still waiting, checked them out at SHOT Show), Barger Ordnance Tactical charging handle. About %70 done with this one- only what works, nothing that doesn't, for an all around all purpose lightweight carbine. And both matching in every way. Thus, "Twinsies"
Then there's the "Glock 17 needs night sights, Insight M6, and FML hicaps project", to match the Kel-Tec Sub2000 project-Scherer 33 round mags are on the way, to have Glock 18 springs and factory followers put on. An
awesome little carbine-now I just need to get my own. Oh, and I need a Glock 26, and some Ashley Express sights.
I don't even want to go into how I want to buy a 10/22 mount for an OKO for my synthetic stoked 10/22-or the fact that I NEED a Surefire light for the 11-87, and maybe one for the existing 16" lightweight EA Preban carbine.
Lots of stuff going on-now if I wasn't a broke kid, it's be easier. Did I mention that my car needs several hundred in non-critical repairs? Well, that can wait
Important things first.
