I have a HK USP .40 Compact used and was wanting to get a smaller pistol I can just throw in my pocket and go.. I was looking at a Kel Tec P32..  but was looking for something with a little more punch.. anybody have any suggestions?

You might want to check out a Kahr.
The newest polymer series are a perfect pocket gun.I am currently carrying a K40 stainless everyday.This is not really a pocket pistol but the MK9 or MK40 would do the trick.
The P series are slimmer due to the fact that they do not need grip panels.In fact,they were too slim for me.
Kahr makes three basic designs:
K series (full slide and grip)
Covert  (Full slide,shortened grip)
MK  (short slide,short grip)
The polymer pistols offer the same configurations.Recently they introduced the T series which is a 4" full size pistol.
I have been very impressed with the performance/reliability of these pistols.They have a long but extremely smooth trigger and conceal well.

I have an NAA .32 and a .380 -- love um both.

The 32 is "the gun to carry when I am not carrying a gun", as I have heard so often.

I did the same topic about 2 months ago.  I was suggested the same hardware your getting.  Well I went down to a local dealer and found the NAA Guardian in .32 and yup its small and pretty.  I like glocks persoanlly and have a mini beretta in .22 short as well as a 1911.  It seams Kel Tec, Berreta, and NAA are your best bets.

Go with the Kel-tec.  I have never owned another gun that could quite literally "go anywhere".  Load it with good hollowpoints and it should serve it's intended purpose very well.

I was going to say no glocks.. I just don't like them at all..  my gun shop has the P32 for 250 bucks.. seems kinda like a lot for such a small package.. should I ask him to come down to like 225 or maybe even 200?  I don't think i'm gonna trade in my HK for a p32 but I can't hit shit with the .40 compact.. I have a .45 Match and can hit almost anything at 20 yards.. what would ya'll do?

I just bought a P-32,was $235 with a hard chromed slide.Its a gun you carry all the time-when wearing shorts,can't hide anything smaller, ect-.guys will tell ya stories bout 80 year old women shooting at perps(no doubt the 6-5, 300+lb,crazed on angeldust type)with a .32 and it just pissing them off enough to rip grandmas arm outta the socket and beat her to death with it.But I say if you or anyone is 5-10 feet away from me and I point this thing in your face and pull the trigger a half dozen times you'll either die ,be deterred,or my time on earth is up no matter what I was carrying.

There is just nothing else like the P-32.6+ ounces empty and under $300.you could get a Naa or equivalent but its gomna cost near $400+ and weigh near 20 oz.The Naa .380 is the same palm size,but posseses the aformentioned penalties.Besides there are a couplea .32 loads that approach .380 power and speed.

I agree that a tiny .40,.45 handgun is a handfull.I like them,but for me 9mm is the most controllable-read accurate-small package auto caliber and what i prefer since I just refuse to carry fullsize or commander size weapons.

If you want a "fullsize" caliber,the polymer kahr's and Ltwt S&W centenials in .38 special are the smallest lightest options.Both are in the 16.oz empty,$400+ range.

I carry a Glock26 9mm most everywhere I go. I have a leather pocket holster from a major maker..can't remember the name tho. I wear shirts out so it's always hidden. The pocket holster hides the print perfectly.

I'm anti-glock sorry :(  

How bout the S&W 340PD 5 shot Ultralight hammerless .357, 12oz, matte black, concealable, dependable and hits a darn sight harder than a .32.

I was looking at Kahr's newest 9mm PM9 see if I can get it around 550-600... it's really good looking pistol.. if I can't find one then I guess i'm going to get a Kel Tec P32..

I just bought a Colt model 1903 (two actually) that is really sweet.  Good workmanship, great accuracy, and very ergonomic.  The Hammerless is about the smoothest small pistol out there, absolutely nothing to catch.  It's not as small as the Kel-Tec by any means, but it has a trigger that is leaps ahead and is far more accurate than any Kel-Tec.

You might also want to consider a Sig Sauer P232 in .380 Auto.  I've got one that is light and quite small (again not as small as the Kel-Tec, but much better made, for a German gun), has a good trigger and is super accurate.  The only drawback is that the hot .380 loads make my hand hurt like Hell because of the aluminum frame on the Sig.

Take a look at a Colt Mustang Pocketlite in 380.

Or the Colt Pony if you can find one.  It's a DAO .380 that's smaller than a PPK/S and a much better choice than a .32 (I know neither is optimal, but the .380 is probably the smallest caliber for a reasonable competant person to carry).  I've got a lightweight one that Scott, McDougal & Assoc worked their magic on & it's a beauty!

I carry the seecamp .32 but may get the .380 when it comes out.  I like the idea of carrying a stainless firearm in the pocket.  Keys and stuff might scratch the hell out of a Kel-Tec.  Although I want a Kel-Tec.

Look at a seecamp before you make a decision.

I just found the pistol I want..Springfield 1911a1 Micro .45ACP.. weight.. 24 oz. not REALLy a pocket pistol but I couldn't resist plus i've been looking for a good little 1911 for awhile also.. my gun shop doesn't carry Kahr either so it would have to be a special order.. i'm trading the HK .40 compact for the 1911a1.. I bought the .40 compact used for 650 and he said he'd give me 550-575 for it.. he has the 1911 marked at 719.. all black.. it's a sweet little gun
