this is a complete pre ban rifle that i am thinking about buying from a friend, and the lower is a cast lower with these markings.

Essential Arms, out of business in 1989 (?) only made lowers, never a complete rifle, the one your friend has was a complete rifle before Sept. 13,1994 (RIGHT ??? say yes !!)

made in Lousiana & Texas some by Ruger, it is rumored.....

my Mod:J-15, basicly is no different than my Eagle Arms "AR"-15 my Bushy "AR"-15 & my Colt AR-15
