This is my Beretta 87 Target. It is a very well balanced and thought out firearm. Was wondering if anyone else has one???

I paid $470.00 delivered from a private FFL dealer. My local gun shop couldn't locate any and they also wanted $540.00 for it. One of the coolest things about is that it will sit up right on a table (muzzle pointing down on table, grip up in the air). This was done for the folks that shoot the bowling pin matches or any other timed shooting competitions.

I shot one recently and I seem to recall thinking the grip wasn't large enough for my hand, it was too short or something. It isn't the same size as a 92FS, is it? If it were it would be a no-brainer.
I also shot the Neos and thought it was OK but didn't think much of the placement of the safety. It seemed to be in exactly the wrong place. The trigger seemed to be awfully stiff as well. |

I'd love to have one of the regular model 87s...but no-damn-body EVER has one.

The grip is a little smaller than a 92. The NEOS is designed to be a simple plinker. The 87 T is going after the S&W 41 crowd.

I rented one of those once. A really nice piece of equipment. Very accurate. Amazing since I was the one shooting it. My Buckmark gets the job done but still I wish I had one.
