I love my sks rifles.....They are fast, smooth, cool, strong, powerful, and sweet. SHOOT IT!

You could always sell it for enough to buy an AK...
I sold my SKS a while back, because I needed the $$. Once in a while I miss it, but then I snap out of it and realize I'm better off without it. What could I use it for that I couldn't do with an AK? |

I'd say that unless you have a real desire to shoot the rifle, unless you've got a lot of ammo that you'd like to "burn", don't shoot it.
I've never had a great urge to take an SKS out. Keep it virgin. . . someone might appreciate that someday. In the meantime, if you want the SKS experience, go buy another and go mad with it. |
