Just wondering, after looking at the fall edition of Special Weapons for military and police, what kind of rifle is the SEAL's .308 XM25?  Is it some kind of variant of a springfield M1A?  Anybody Know?

It's a rifle that shoots 7.62mm. (An M16 on steroids.) Made by Armalite as the AR-10 or Knite Ind. has the SR-25, in use in some U.S. ARMY units now.
