Anyone here ever had any experience with thee cetme rifles? They are not bad looking and seem to be reasonably priced, .308 cal. I am thinking of getting one so any opinions are welcome. Thanks..... fullclip

I picked up a CETME a few weeks ago, this is what I found:
The recoil is pretty light for a 7.62 rifle.
The break is LOUD!
I fired it without my hearing protection on, and my ears were ringing for haf an hour.
I really like mt CETME. I have only put 2 battlebacks through it, but I am looking forward to many more.
Oh yeah, cross your fingers if you get one, some people get 'good' ones meaning the sights are straight, but mine will take some work.
Also do a search on cetme in the forums, there have been a few threads on them recently.
