Pre-ban price check please

Found a Pre-ban on the lower it has E.A model J-15 Has the old triangle handguards,bayo lug. flash suppresor. Its in very good condition, appears to have not been fired alot. Can you tell me about this rifle, and a guesstimate as to worth? I know without seening it its hard to say. thanks

Est. value is $900-1k easily. The company is Essential Arms and they did not sell fully built rifles only receivers or in kit form. Buy your description it is quite possible that the one you saw could've been from such a kit. The receivers are cast but you shouldn't be able to hurt it under normal conditions*.

* However, this company is no longer in business, IF any catastrophic damage did occur to the receiver it could not be replaced.

But,... you can be sure that it is a preban,... they went out of business prior to 13 sept 1994...

The rifle is utter crap. Don't buy it! Now, where did you say it was?
Seriously though, sounds like a great deal. I'd snatch it up if I were you.
