Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - A1 upper ID, stamped

I picked up a preban eagle arms a week ago and it has an A1 upper with a "P" and an "M" in the same position as would be in the colt's "C" and "M".  Any ideas as to manufacturer?

iirc....  

the P is for PWA (pac west arms) the original not the new ones.  C would be Colt and B would be Bushmaster

the M is for Maritn Marietta who actually forged the upper.

edited to say i'm not sure about the new pwa stuff never examined it up close.

my preban pwa upper has the PM markings.
