Hey guys, just wanted to know who of ya out there owned one of those delightfully ugly Hi Point carbines.  I bought one a couple of months ago and love it:
-It's fairly accurate
-Light
-Short
-Ammo Is CHEAP!
-It looks politically incorrect
-All sorts of goodies to go on it

One thing i did notice, tho.  145gr jhp Bear ammo doesn't work AT ALL.  115 jhp does tho.  The stock's also a little bit cheesy, and the rear sight is PLASTIC, altho it's well protected by sight ears.  Some interchangeable front sights would be nice, tho....

So, lemme know what you guys think about this gun, i'm eager to get some feedback on it.

Oh yeah, Hi Point also has great customer service

it sure is better than the affordable sub 2000, cause the sub 2k folds up into a breifcase, and uses an array of hicap mags.
