I watched it for the first time today since it was released on DVD today as well. My question is what was the manufacturer of the lower in the scene where the Delta operator was cutting in line for chow? The camera pans for a close-up of the safety.

It's a Colt. I went to that frame and paused it. I could make out "COLT'S MFG CO INC HARTFORD, CONN USA." Looks like an AR15, not an M16 or M4. Selector appears to be on "FIRE," not "SAFE" and that chickenshit sear block appears present. I couldn't see the pin for the auto sear either.
