I finally decided that I want to get a pistol in addition to the AR15s that I own. I went to the sheriff's office and picked up the application. I am in the process of getting my references to fill up the form.

I will be applying for the carry concealed type permit. Has anyone who has gotten the license give me an estimate of how long it takes to get approved and what are the chances that they will not give me a concealed carry type.

I heard that the old sheriff was pretty gun friendly and the new one is ok also.
