First of all how is the quality on DPMS rifles.I have a new DPMS and am curious as to the easiest route to take in converting it to having a forward assist.  I would also like to modify to an m-4 variation.  Should I purchase a complete upper,  or just buy a new Bushy M-4.  Give me some feedback on this.

DPMS have excellent products...  I'd just get them to config another upper the way you want it..

Daily-PMS

Look very close before you buy.  There customer service needs lots of work before I buy anything else from them.  Maybe I was the only one treated poorly but I don't think so.

You're right Hawaii!  RRA might be a much better option..

Outstanding Quality and great customer service. If you are having probs with customer service, call in and ask if Jared is still working there or not. He'll get you hooked up.

But yeah, get a DPMS and enjoy it, they are great guns.

crash.

I love my DPMS M4gery but I think their motto is "You get what you wait for." I'd buy from them again, but only in person. No more eight month waits.

I like my DPMS alot.  I had a minor problem with it when I first got it, send it back, had it back fast and completly fixed.  I would definitly buy from them again.

I have a DPMS and had no problem but it sounds like there is a long wait lately.  Ordered from Bushmaster online on the 7th and received order in Arizona on the 10th.  Now that is what I would call fast service.

Friend shoots DPMS CMP rig in service rifle.  Quite happy with it.  Like most AR companies I think they can put out the occasional lemon but no more than any others.

They're usually pretty good.

I'd ask to examine before I buy (just basic stiff like looking at the hammer, bolt/bolt carrier, chamber and bore), but otherwise they're fine.

The only rifles I buy off the rack without asking questions are new ArmaLites, and even then, I save all receipts and do a full breakdown and clean before i fire the first bullet.

I have 2 DPMS AR's. One of them is the cheapest one they make (A-1 upper, non chrome, etc.). I bought it to beat it up. Turns out you can't. GREAT RIFLES!
