Can this rifle be fired by a left handed shooter?  Which way does the action throw the brass?

It throws empties to the right, just like most other semi autos, but far enough in front of you to not be a bother.  Owned one for several years, and cannot recall ever being hit by an empty.  If you want one, don't let being a southpaw stop you. It doesn't matter.
