OK, I am helping a friend build a lower. When it is all together, we do a function check. When the selector is on fire, you should be able to pull the trigger, push the hammer down, and the hammar will stay down till you release the trigger, then it pops back up slightly.

With his, the hammar does NOT catch at all. It looks like there is about an 1/16" gap between the hammar and the disconnector. Anyone have any ideas what may cause this?

Disregard. He did not put the spring under the disconnector.
