what are the laws against fixed mag weapons? folding stocks, pistol grips and bayonets are they legal?

The AW ban does not apply. The ATF ruling of 922r or something or other does. Basicly you can't take a rifle sporterized and return it to it's full military style that wasn't importable. The only rifle that comes to mind like this and takes a detachable mag is an SKS. They are all in full military dress so it would be hard to make this sporting rifle non sporting. If you're asking about adding a folder to an SKS. you'll get alot of different answers. I'll pass on that for now.

Of course, none of the rifles affected by the 'assault weapons ban' are assault rifles, as none of them are select fire.
