Just out of curiosity, it'd be cool to see some photos of large amunition stash's.  I'm talking photo's of crates of hundreds of thousands of rounds.  What's the largest stockpile of ammo that's ever been captured by photograph?

Does this count? About 10,000 rounds under all those rifles

The marine reserve unit across the street from where I work has about five pallets of .223 sitting on their back loading dock.

No pics but in 1995 agents from state and Fed govt seized 74.5 million rounds of 7.62x39mm M43 Russian mfg ammo from Eagle Exim. It was seized because it was "illegally imported Chinese ammo". Twentythree tractor-trailer loads later the highly trained agents managed to read a few headstamps (DOH!) and realized their boo-boo. Within three weeks the company started to get their ammo back (with no fanfare from the press) all paid for by your taxes. All agents involved were promoted (SOP). The pics on TV were awe inspiring. Now that would qualify as a manly ammo stash...!

Here is an old pic of my "ammo stash." Not hundreds of thousands of rounds, buy hey.
I've shot most of it up and replaced it with more since the picture was taken. I don't feel like pulling out the current stash. Too hard on my back.

Damn photo hosting service.

All of that and no 10/22, I'm dissapointed in you Paul.

10/22 has been lent to another freedom fighter.

The only ammo I hoard is Winchester .22 LR.  I only do that because I'm afraid they'll discontinue it and it's the most accurate bulk ammo I've found yet.

Since I reload, I have plenty of brass, powder, and bullets lying around, so I don't feel the need to have a huge ammo stash.
