before putting your favorite Black rifle to rest ??

after i get back from the range, i usually take two AR-15s, i give them the basic field strip cleaning..., then i have a shot glass that i squeeze some mil-spec. CLP in it, then lightly dip my SHAVING BRUSH into the CLP & go over the rifle from one end to the other, dabbing & brushing every where, not leaving one tiny lyttle millimeter of area untouched..., it ends up looking so beautiful i almost want to take it to bed .....,  my wife is very tolerant, but she does draw a line not to be crossed in some areas .........

I usually just put 'em away dirty and reload the empty mags for next time.

I've gotten lazy about cleaning stuff after every shoot. As long as they're still lubed, they're good for a couple of trips.

I shoot a couple times a week if the weather allows it.

A Bore Snake drenched in Break Free CLP dragged through the bore a few times, wipe down with Sentry Soloutions Tuff Cloth (Bolt too), a few drops of CLP for the bolt, and softly it rests in it's nylon bag.
