The M17s is a FAR better choice than any non-FA Mini. Do a search on this site using M17S as keyword (bullpup, also) and read away. Kurts Kustom Firearms (in the industry forum) does a nice job of tweaking the M17s.
IMHO, a properly tweaked M17s is superior overall to most other SA 5.56 rifles, the AR notwithstanding. YMMV. |

I agree with RAF, I own a M17 and love it. Kury currently has it for a little customization. It makes a great CQB weapong as well...

If you get one, before you even shoot it, send it to Kurt. He corrects most of the major issues that should be corrected in the base design. Get a nice AimPoint or Reflex for the rail he installs, and you're good to go.

Bushmaster ought to be able to supply the latest MSRP figure. A friendly and co-operative FFL might be able to shave some from that.
