Does anyone know of what happened to the automatic MP-5 .9mms the security forces for the UN Headquarters were packing? There was a big brouhaha that the UN-long a bastion of arms control- that they had these AUTOMATIC 30 round sub guns. Wasn't the ATF checking this out? I know that GWB is very pro-UN and that his administration probably pressured the ATF to drop the investigation. After all only Kofi Annan knows how to deploy a fully automatic weapon in the name of peace! Have a nice day.

I don't think most of you understand... the UN, just like an embassy, is sovereign territory of the UN.  It is not US territory, and the ATF has no jurisdiction there.
