Anybody have one?

I'm interested in one of the real small 8 shot .22 LRs with the short barrel.

How are they? Any accuracy? Trigger pull?

What about the 10 shot model 17 w/ the 6 inch barrel???

thanks

I've had a 317-3in. for about 8-900 rounds now.
It shoots well enough but frankly I think it's
TOO light. I appreciate it's supposed to be light for ease of carriage but my M34
feels more steady and I seem to shoot it better.
Can't really say if the longer sight radius is
responsible or  the extra ounces. Would like
to mention the Ruger 22-45 with 5inch heavy barrel in SS has completely taken over my 22
pistol shooting as it drives tacks and feels like my 1911, but much cheaper to plink with.
S&W had great trigger pull out-of-the-box,
but mainspring was too strong and got
replaced with a Wolff reduced power(and rebound 14#). This combo of springs made the mite
much smoother to shoot and more fun.Best ammo
was CCI Green Tag but this is very individual
Hope this helps.Regards, Chuck Hunt
