Hello,

Can someone help me identify the make, model and approx age of this rifle.

It is a 22 (LR ?),  Rolling Block, Octogon Barrel, with a takedown lever.

Here is a Pic.

Thanks,
Bob

It looks like a Remington Rolling Block No. 4 take down.  These were made from the late 1800s to about 1930 in various models in .22 & other rimfire calibers.  You have a nice little rifle!  If the barrel locks tightly into the action & the bore is decent, it should shoot well. With the hammer & breach block both rolled back, you should not be able to pull & release the trigger.  If you can, the trigger or sear notch is worn.  Have a gunsmith check it out.  Frank de Haas' "Single Shot Rifles & Actions" should tell you a lot more.
