How does "You get what you pay for" sound?
I was looking at the YUGO SKS the other day at my local shop...BRAND NEW, UNISSUED CONDITION $289 and it looked like it was worth every penny! But hey if you want to break in the C&R go for it. I'm still waiting to do it as well. |

Doesn't that company say on the $99 model black bore or dirty bore? but it still sounds like fun especially since you don't have to do any paperwork just get it sent to your door.

if it was an m1 and had a marine's name would it be a bad thing? if it was a k98 and some german private carved his name into the stock would that be bad? |

If you are dying to use that C&R why not get something quality that you will appreciate like a Swiss K31 straight pull? You can always rebarrel it to .308.
