Never seen a Chinese M-14, but I have seen a Poly-Tech M1A, believe they sell for around $500-800 dollars depending on whether they have been re-heat treated or not. Get on www.gunsamerica.com and see what their selling for there.
Mike PS - FWIW, a M14 is a select fire 308 cal. miltary weapon, the M1A is the civilian version of the same. |

The Chinese M14s are surprisingly good. There are some interchangeability problems with GI parts, but they can all be worked around. The receivers are forged and machined, not cast, and heat treat on the ones I've got seems fine. I've had it checked on one by two shops. The mags are good too.

M1A is what Springfield Armory Inc. calls their M14 clone. The Chinese rifles actually are marked M14. |

If it's in good shape and not used & abused, I'd offer $550-600... more if USGI parts were installed. Everyone around here asks $800 for theirs, but I don't see them moving. |

I'm asking $750 for one with ~ $200 in USGI parts added and including all the original parts, too. If I was really motivated I'd put it back together with the Chinese parts, and sell everything separately; probably get a few more dollars overall  |

Thoese chinese m-14 are nice. I saw them brand new here in canada for $699.00. Do they shoot anygood ?

The receivers are usually very good if they've been heat-treated.
Some of the best M14-style guns I've seen and shot were built off Chinese receivers. Send one to Fulton Armory and you'll get a hell of a gun |
