My wife wants an AR of her own. She does not want the Cav Arms yellow lower, but she does want one with yellow handguards, pistol grip and stock.

However, she wants to see one first. Does anyone have one set up this way.

I was looking at Cav Arms web page and didn't find that one.

....but if I show her that one she will want it! It has the nice go fast hole......wish I had the $$ for that!

I think they're working on a mold for the regular stock now..... so if you don't like the folding, ya can get the regular stock. Check w/ Cavalry Arms......

Fun switch, noisemaker, ammo waster etc. Full auto or burst selector.

What colors will CavArms do? For some reason I want purple furniture for my 5 year plan (hey, it's May Day after all) AR15. A reddish brown 'Bakelite' stock, etc would be kinda cool also.

I think its kinda neat. It looks like it could go in your tool box, along with one of those yellow DeWalt drills. It would be at home at any construction sight. Finally, real urban camo!

Actually I think she wants the yellow because it is pretty. I thought...hmmmm...a pretty AR...I thought they were supposed to be black and evil and scare children and Liberals. Maybe she is on to something.....

What's wrong w/ colors? I'm personally getting use to colored guns. Now, hot pink will take time to get use to....(no they don't have it, but EAA offers it in their pistol line).

If yellow is not your liking.... how about this:

other colors are listed on the Cav site.

I started in AR's w/ the Cav (in black). I guess I have no problem of a plastic AR.

She has pretty much made up her mind that she wants yellow. She has voiced very stong opinion that she does not want pink (thank God!)

She shot my AR for the first time at the Mid-MO shoot and fell in love! I couldn't belive it...raining like mad...wife then decides to shoot the AR...go figure. Oh, she likes my 9mm best, but I told her that she couldn't have it....LEO Only..hehe!

We both agreed that a .223 would be a good thing for her. I already have several mags and ammo is pretty cheap.

Oh, I attempted to talk her into something in the 20" line (so we could have a shorty and a standard around) NOPE! She wants a shorty....so she is getting a shorty! She also wants an EOTech to start with. I told her that she has to first get used to using the iron sights before she gets any optics. She agreed after explaining to her that you can't count on a battery in a combat setting.
