It is the 1860 Army revolver in .44 caliber with the starter kit. Ordered it saturday from cabela's and it shoud be here on Thursday.  Does anyone know if the starter kit comes with caps?  Also does anyone know if Colt ever made the 1851 Navy in .44 cal for civilians in the 1800s?  Thanks

Percussion caps are shipped as "Haz Mat" just like primers, IIRC. So they won't come with the gun.

Check out Dixie Gun Works in Union City, TN. They're a BP specialist & has a catalog that would rival Brownells.
