I have a Bushmaster 16" shorty with the AK muzzle brake. The lower is marked Y2K LIMITED EDITION.
Is this a rare one? Worth anything?

There were at least 1,000 of them made (they were made by request of a big distributer), so I wouldn't call them rare.  And the configuration (11.5" barrel + 5.5" AK brake) isn't all that desireable, as it's ballistically feeble.

I'd rebarrel that upper and have fun shooting it.

I thought the Y2K model had the 14.5" barrel with the AK brake.
