John Holliger assembled...

Real, Colt M4 upper receiver, SS Krieger 20", 1/8 twist, Wylde chamber, OD green GunKoted by Mac's. TiN-coated bolt/carrier. Free Floated barrel and modified WOOD handguards (a la Springfield Armory) to accommodate the FF tube.  Les Tam sling.

OD green anodized Soccom Mfg. lower receiver with John Holliger modified RR Arms 2-stage trigger, Armalite adjustable buttplate.  Sights are Armalite carryhandle and a Leupold Vari-X III 10X50 scope with ARMS #19 mounts.

I didn't know you could get wood furniture for the AR.

How did you get the wood handguards?  Does Springfield still make them?

That is an awesome looking rifle. That wood furniture sure commands attention, doesn't it? I have only seen two other ARs with wood stocks on them. One of them is in my collection. The wood furniture on it, came from the other rifle.

That's a beautiful rifle. Enjoy.

Wood just doesn't go with the aesthetics of the AR, but that's just me.

They are currently made of unobtainium.  I just looked long and hard for them, and lady luck must have been smiling at me when I found them (NEW no less!).

I just had to have a nice rifle built around these jewels.
