I guess my thoughts of building one were not economically feasable..  Anyone know of any pre ban Carbines, for sale, in Arizona??  Looking for new or near new...

I saw a preban carbine at the Armory is Scottsdale.

Know anything about it??

Its a slab side and i think the price is around $1600.
I don't remember if its new or used.

Bear Arms in Scottsdale had a Eagle Pre Ban last week for $1299. I believe it was a 16" skinny barrel, A2 sights, and collapsible stock. The gun looks great, barely been shot. The finish was a light grey, both lower & upper. Oh yeah, make sure and check the serial # first, they were trying to sell a "pre ban" PWA that had too high of a serial number to be considered a pre ban. I asked one of the guys there to check into it, about two weeks later the gun had a fixed stock and a cav comp on it. It had previously had a A1 FH and a 2 position stock.
Too bad you missed the gun show, someone had a SGW for $999. In fact it was a local pawn show, I just can't remember which one.
