Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 1st AR-15!

Hi all, new member here posting for 1st time. I've found this site about a month ago and have been reading just about everything. It helped me out alot regarding my 1st AR purchase. I picked up a Bushmaster XM15 E2S Shorty A3 16" rifle this weekend!
I live in Conn. "The Screw The Constitution State". I was going to get one years ago but our state passed a ban, prices skyrocketed! So I bought a SKS, I know, I know, but it was cheap and still lotsa fun.
Well now I've got one (for now) and look forward to shooting it and posting on this board!
