Which pistol to get?

I'm thinking about treating myself to a new sidearm. I've narrowed my choices to three:

HK USP .40 V1
Glock 22
Beretta 96

Notice they're all .40

Opinions, please

I have owned both the USP and Beretta and shot the glock 22. From you list I would go with the H&K. It is super sweet (although expensive) :)

choosing a tool always begins with knowing the job.

competition? carry? on a S.W.A.T. team?

the all around shooter is the Glock 22. and in fact, i would choose it for just about any situation i can think of. the only exception being concealed carry, for which i prefer the slightly smaller G23.

i bet u would like the G23 better than the G22

U might be suprised by the Springfield XD40

or even the Sig P229 in .40 with a .357sig bbl

Outside of the 1911 shooters, I can't fathom why anyone would shoot anything else but a SigP220..lol

Dude, that's a "no-brainer"

Go with the lite-weight Glock for CCW...

I own Berettas & Glocks...
Both are great brands, but I hate carrying a Beretta...
Feels like a brick compared to a Glock...

and yes, it is for me, the all around shooter. Eventually concealed. I don't mind the weight of any of the sidearms, but I can understand why some might think a Beretta is a friggin' brick.

Hey, entropy, not to shit on your thread, but if you're spouting off that glocksucks.com site, notice right above where the author is telling you to buy an aftermarket barrel the picture is of an aftermarket barrel blown up. Let the Glock kB crap die please. Real simple. Don't shoot lead, don't shoot other people's reloads. Duh.
