as long as it's not in the city i think you're good to go..that's how it is in wisconsin anyway. also depends if you have neihbors.

carroll county, here...5 acres ain't much dirt...but as long as you have a safe backstop, you are good to go (not withstanding the xxx feet from any dwelling law).

I live in Kleveland right now ,but the land I bought is on rt.658 just north of twp. 188(big indian rd).I have a deep revine that I can shoot down into.

You should be ok, just get to know your neighbors if there are any. Maybe check with the Sheriff's department. They will be of help.
