The price sounds cheap to me. That is $0.045 each at $ 45.00 per 1,000. I bought some from Cheaper than Dirt that were sold "as new", but in reality were rusty. I think it is because they are made of two different metals. Steel and Brass which when touching corrode due to galvanic action. I have to spray them down with WD-40 and wipe them off, but I bet they rust up again.
I have some all steel .308 that are probably at least 25 years old and some 9mm that are at least 50 years old that are in great shape. Just be sure and get a sample, or see some pics before you buy any. |

It beats Wu's price of 6 cents a stripper clip, which was the best price I've seen for them so far.

That's a bit cheaper than Chuck Rupe at Wu's Surplus:

whatever you do, do not get them from sportsmansguide. worst ive ever seen, and filled with sand!

I wish there was a way to check these before buying. Out of the one hundred I have almost 80% are way too tight.

Get them from Wu's. Okay its a few dollars more but I have bought several hundred and all looked new.

I purchased 500 stripper clips,25 cloth bandoleers,and 50 cardboards from New River Salavage (910-455-1252) located in Jacksonville,SC for $40. Every item was as new and I was very satisfied with the entire deal.

I think that www.ammunitionstore.com has a good price at $20/200. That works out to .10 each. You can also get 24 spoons for $13.00. Of course, if you can pass some money on to a fellow ar15.com denizen, then go for it.
