I have a friend who has an SL8 and im sure he's like to be able to use high cap mags. I heard there was a conversion kit to use high cap mags. Does it require any cutting on the reciever? also can someone provide a website with more info?

The kit is made by special weapons, their quality is doubius and from all acounts the guy who runs SW is not the greatest fellow.

Yes.  The kit requires cutting on the receiver.

If your friend wants to cut into a plastic receiver and vod his warranty...well...he's brave.
