Ok bushmaster suggest a non drying non detergent motor oil to keep up the finish on your gun. I have looked on the bottles of dozens of motor oils and have failed to see these specifications. Do any of you guys know of a good oil to use? what do you other bushy owners use?

I just use CLP. It seems to get everywhere when I lube up to ol' AR anyway. But hey, I'm cheap....

Just use armor all.

and don't forget to get the brass marks off of the deflector.

What's your problem with keeping the brass deflector free off brass marks?
Some of us like to keep our rifles shiny new looking.

It's important to remove the brass marks.  The enemy could spot you using brass mark detection goggles.
