ED_P, although I have not done myself yet I have heard the # 1 adapter is best as there is less metal to remove so it will fit in the hole. Hope this helps out a fellow New Engalnder.

I sell Harris equipment and would use the #2 adapter. I will go through the drainage hole and provide the stud needed.
