Hey Treetop...Whats the scoop on the center AR with the fancy butt stock? I've been wanting to make something like that but not enough time lately.

macloud, what's the deal with the handguards on your M16? I see those from time to time on SP1s and M16A1s. They are not the current A2 round handguards, and they obviously arent the old triangular guards.

They look like Cavalry Arms lowers to me. The lower and the stock are one unit.

The current owner of the rifle put those handguards on years ago. He tells me he has the original triangle guards somewhere. Once the form 4 comes back, I will be putting the orginal ones back on.

That's the ACE LTD skeletal buttstock, I got it at the SHOT Show. Here's some more info:

It just sorta looked like it was a trick or something. It didn't really register the first time I looked. Maybe a subliminal message of some sort?

I see on some of those you have the buttstock with the integrated pistol grip. Does this allow you to have an extra evil feature?

Nope. It's still a pistol grip, whether or not it's integrated with the rest.
Those 3 are CAV-15s, made by www.cavalryarms.com. The receiver, pistol grip, and buttstock are all one unit, made from glass-filled nylon. The left one is standard(for CAV-15s) length, and the other 2 have been shortened to about A1 length- Cavalry Arms now offers a shortened version for an additional charge.

It's truck bed coating, applied heavily with a brush. The white lower was driving me crazy trying to keep it clean, so I finally gave up and gave it the tar treatment.

It works great for grip, and it gives a little like a rubber overcoating. I left a spot open where the serial number badge is.
