Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Adjusting front site on Yugo 48 Mauser

Anyone adjusted the front site for windage on their Yugo Mauser. Mine shoots 3 inches to the right at 50 yards. It looks like a dovetail type insert but I don't want to mess with it without knowing exactly what I should be doing. It is an open site-not the hooded type.

what model do you have...24/47 or 24/52?

on my 48 yugo, the hood is slid off and a brass drift/hammer applied to dovetailed insert blade to move it for windage.

if you see a dovetail and no other means to adjust it, get out the brass and start tapping on it.
