Ok I'm in need of some help from a few good people in the know

I'm in need of a magazine retaining spring for an M1903 trainer.
aka U.S. Springfield M1922M2 .22cal rifle[/red.

I have already contacted numric gunparts and searched the net. I have came up with a big goose egg on both counts.

I drawing a blank here help me out please.

Worse coming to worse, it should be pretty easy to fabricate using wire spring stock from Brownells (assuming I’m thinking of the right spring).
