Cavalry Arms lower.
Bushmaster A1 carbine upper with the barrel shortened by Kurts and a Kurts Kustom Brake attached for a 16 inch overal length.

Do you think this would be a fairly light rifle? I like mine heavy but this is for my wife. She wants it a bit lighter. Want it in A1 fashion for simplicity.

I think it would be light, but with the cav arms maybe a bit to long of a pull. I am 6'2" and it fits me perfect.

Well, she is about 5'10", with long arms. Tall and skinny. That shouldnt be a problem. She likes my AR's but they are just a tad too heavy.
