Are they preban or are they not?

Since they went out of business do I need worry about the ATF and it's status?

Thanks

Well, the short answer is that you technically have to be able to prove that the rifle was built with evil features (I.E. not just a stripped lower) prior to the ban.

For all practical purposes though you will prolly be all right.

Anything under 35222 is preban.

However, none left Pac West Arms as complete rifles. So you would need to have proof that they were built into complete rifles before the ban.
