I was in a  local gun shop and the owner and manager had recently returned from the shot show and were discussing what was new. They told me that Armalite had sold out to another company in the firearms industry. Any truth to this rumour? They stated that this occurred about 3 months ago. Has anyone heard anything similar?

I'll bet this news will shock the hell out the man who owns the company.  As of yesterday, he thought he still owned the place.

I think they might be confused with the "official" separation of Eagle Arms as its own brand with its own "identity" in the marketplace.  That must be it...
