I’m trying to find an applicator to Cerakote my McMillan stock but one of the shops I checked with won’t do it because they say the stock cracks with the heat cure. Has anyone else heard of this happening before?

I’m just trying to do a three color GAP camo and looking for recommendations on someone who has Cerakoted a McMillan stock before with H series.

I can't see how coating it and baking it at 150-160 is any hotter than when they originally made it. I have done a lot of factory plastic stocks and even wood stocks and they all came out fine.

why don't you just ask McMillan if it is possible, they would be the experts.
