Picked up a cool dozen of these things in the bargain cave at cabelas, at just over $2 a piece figured I could try it out.  Well there was a lot of cutting cursing, and petting of my rifle, but it turned out OK. All the reviews were spot on about them going on easy and coming off easy, as well as having the color of whatever is under it bleed through.  They would definitely work better on a non AR platform (too many grooves). I'll see how it holds up over a hunt next week and report back.
