Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - can I spray can over cerakote

My AK  is professionally Cerakoted H-227 Tactical Gray. I want to get some Kryptek stencils and spray it a darker gray so the current color comes out in the Kyrptek pattern. Would I be able to just de-grease and spray over the cerakote, and have the spray can paint hold?

It won't be very durable, but you could do it.
