Hello,
Satin nickel versus matte chrome, which is most pleasing to the eye? If I recall correctly chrome is harder and would be more durable right? How does the satin nickel hold up? Can either of these be polished to a mirror shine? Thanks alot for all your help

I personally like the Colt Satin Nickel type finish. On durability, I'm lost.
I've had guns armalloyed before.
