Norells and KG are about equal in durability.  Both are bake on and both beat the snot out of Duracoat for durability.

If you want solid colors and can bake the parts prior to assembly, KG or Norells is the only way to go.

We apply DuraCoat, CeraKote, KG GunKote, & Moly Resin. All four are excellent coatings that will hands down out perform a blued or parkerized finish. There is no "BEST" coating. And a coating is only as good as the prep work thats under it.

There is the "BEST" coating for your application. It just depends on the material your coating over and the look you want to achieve. Just because a coating has a higher hardness rating or higher temp rating wont necessarily make it better for what you want to refinish. This is especially true for items that are flexible. A high hardness rating for an item like a BC flip open cap is a bad thing.
