None of them really.
NightVisionGuys uses AGM housings and optics, which are very subpar - especially the glass. Bad edge distortion. |

Secondly they offer a return policy so I guess I could return it if it’s not nice and 3ed the place you linked me to stated their unit for 2700 had sub par tubes for 2700 ??????? |

Steele will let you hand pick XLS tubes. I think it's around $2400? For the GP.
XLS is the lowest rating elbit offers. Every tube will either have a spec that failed to meet the next rating, or a blem that dropped it out. Mine has a small zone 3 blem. So you can get lucky, or unlucky. Its a gamble. Vendors that let you hand select will let you pick what aspects are important. Specs of mine were SNR: 30.5 Res: 64 Halo: .84 Ebi: .68 FOM: 1952 PC: 2660  Attached FileOtherwise JRH/TNVC/Steele all have sub 3k 14's that should be good for you. There's a few good vendors to choose from. Look for black friday deals. |

NVG - seems serviceable
but you wont have the best glass MOST of their units do not come with data sheets so you will never really know what you actually have warranty is only a few years if i remember correctly and lack of success actually getting a hold of the company rep doesn't leave confidence in after purchase support also with the use of Apache glass some accessories are not compatible from what i have read here , i do know the demist sheild and eye cup cannot be installed at the same time , actually broke to eye cup retainer ring trying to get it to fit. it was my first as well |

Most Black Friday sale prices will be live on the site on the 23rd and folks can email or call ahead of time to get BF pricing now and get ahead of the flood of orders that always happen the end of the year. Many tube models are backed up quite a bit but currently (11/21/20) the quickest shipping is the Photonis Echo spec (2-4 weeks, some way sooner lately) and the WP XLS tube units (2-5 weeks). |

Respectfully, you need to not pick a $2500 NVG vendor based on who will take paypal. You need to buy your first NVG from a reputable source that will shoot you straight on what you need and not oversell you. A company that will be there for you before and after the sale and who has the longevity to be there for the long term.
For me, that company more often than not is TNVC. |
