I thought it was a good deal and pulled the trigger on a PVS-14. I was Army until 2000 and used -7s a bunch. I have a couple pair of those today. They are familiar and they work. WP is something I’ve wanted. I have used them in trials and shoots before but did not have a set.
I am excited to see how this set compares! I’m hoping I get a winner! |

I purchased a PVS14 few hours ago so I'll probably be backordered (#368310). I've been tire kicking this for too long. I've bought a Breach, a helmet and a bridge but never seemed ready to buy the PVS14. This should allow me to finish off my helmet...until the bino bug bites. Fingers crossed for hitting the lottery on the spec sheet. I'm excited to check this out.

Quoted: why not? is commercial spec still itar? that seems odd. View Quote All Gen. 3 and even most higher performing Gen. 2 is still ITAR. COM-SPEC/MIL-SPEC and exportable/non-exportable (ITAR) are two different things with totally different metrics, though--FWIW, the "FOM" or "Figure of Merit" benchmark for determining tube "quality" actually does have a lot to do with creating an easy metric to classify tubes for export/restricted. ~Augee |

In for a pvs14. Thanks to Bill @ TNVC, he was very patient and I'm now looking forward to the possibility of classes down here in Florida. Where do you guys see your wait time? My invoice just says "Backordered: 1."

So my question is, for a first NV device and probably only NV device for a long time, would you rather have a TNV L3 UF WP PVS14, or one of these new bino options?

Alright, I'm in! I am keeping my fingers crossed that it meets or exceeds the performance of my OMNI VII GP tube. Also, I didn't realize TNVC charges your card right away on back orders? I guess it's a different vendor I was thinking of that only charges when they ship.
Now, off to sell some things to pay for the new purchase! |

I'm the 1 out of 10 that chose the unfilmed white phosphor PVS-14 over binos. I'm going thermal (either helmet or weapon) for the other eye. |

Personally i am probably going to go Binos, but I still really love the idea of having a top-of-the-line PVS14, if nothing else just for the novelty of being able to experience and show off the latest and greatest technology. |

Late to the party but took wife out to dinner to discuss NV options. After a tall ameretto sour she suggested execute on this smoking hot deal immediately and she would run it if I decide I need a higher spec unit down the road. What a trooper!
Im greeted with a "we are reviewing your order" Wife said see you were too late.... I assured her we are good! |

IIRC, @Honda4828 wanted to use multiple cash rewards cards to make the purchase (and/or he had other specific circumstances like an order change or something) hence why Sam told him to e-mail versus ordering online. ~Augee |

Will my Wilcox L4 G11 Mount work or do I need to buy a Wilcox L4 G24 mount?
Thanks. |

Damn that price is tempting I want to buy them but I’m skeered I will get one of the ones with dark spots/blemishes. I think that would probably bother me more than lower specs just from an OCD perspective lol.
If you spring for the fancier unfilmed ones will they be spot free or is that still a possibility and I just have unrealistic expectations. Complete night vision noob, so sorry for asking questions that have probably been asked 87,000 times. It’s all very overwhelming. |
