Quoted: I tried both on the same night and ended up buying a monocular. YOU need to try before YOU buy, is absolutely my stance on optics. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: I tried both on the same night and ended up buying a monocular. YOU need to try before YOU buy, is absolutely my stance on optics. The only thing I had tried before buying was binos with a friend and an old gen2 GP monocular. I'm blown away with how well this gen3 WP looks, but driving and walking/stalking with binos is much easier than the monocular. I'm not bitching about monoculars, I just drove the V8 before buying the V6. Quoted: Received today and ordered 7/3 Lum: 2194 Halo: 0.72 EBI: .49 Res: 64 FOM: 2118.4 SNR: 33.1 Great specs. I ordered a PVS14 on July 5rd arrived on Sep 3rd.
I’m new to NV and would appreciate any comments about the specs. I’m not sure how to interpret them. There is one small barely visible blemish in zone three. Luminous 2020 Halo 0.95 EBI 0.9 Resolution 76 Signal to noise 32.6 |

Can anyone confirm if the PVS14s have the external gain knob like the standard military ones? Also do they use Carson glass?
Thanks ahead! |

PVS 14 ordered 7/3 via web @ 1847 EST.
Recieved 9/5 on paper looks solid. Lum. 2221 Halo. .89 EBI. .91 Res. 64 FOM. 2080 SN. 32.5 As they stated...auto gated....correct looking coatings no mystery glass. Similar spot to below post. Updated to say this bitch is awesome. Super high quality clean bright image very good performance spot disappears while off a white wall. While "dunder" won the damn powerball with his specs a few posts down im definitely a winner. Great deal super happy. |

lum - 2331 halo - .73 ebi - .63 res - 76 fom - 2667 s2n - 35.1 Question. Is it ok to use these in a dark building with some sunlight coming through door frames, nail holes etc? No direct rays and you can't see your hand in front of your face with the lights off. |

Yep you'll be fine using it in that environment.

With these tubes, I'd take a great spec tube with a blem over a clean, so-so tube.

First XLS 14 on the EE.
Honestly, it took longer than I'd figure and only asking for a $150 profit. |

Really liking my 14 so far.
Quick question on the Data Record: Under "Spots" should it point out spots and where they are? |
|
|
Mine just says "Pass" and I haven't been able to find any spots yet.

Anyone that ordered on the 4th get theirs yet?
Deer season has started and I'm eager to get mine in. |

All the other emails I have received from TNVC went to my inbox but for some reason the shipping notification went to junk. It actually showed up a day early and they attempted delivery around 11:30 today but of course I am at work and it requires a signature. Every other time they show up well after I am at home. Just my luck. |

PVS-14 ordered 7/4. Arrived 9/21. Able to liberate from FedEx 9/23.
This is my first NV device and I am very impressed so far. I stared at the wall in my closet for like 5 minutes looking for any kind of imperfection but I honestly can't find anything. Still learning the specs but from what I can tell they seem pretty decent except maybe the Lum on the lower side. Any comments? Lum: 1582 Halo: .95 EBI: .47 Res: 64 FOM: 1830 SNR: 28.6 |

Let me guess still not taking orders?
I got my LDI CQBLs and Wilcox from you then deployments got in the way. Still have two Gen3 one L3 and one ITT pvs14s so not a rush, but did the price go up a little since then? |

I am sure they will announce here as well as email once they are caught up enough to resume ordering. Price still reflects the same $2,455 for the PVS-14 unit according to the website: https://www.nightgoggles.com/shop/night-vision/night-vision-goggles/ngi-pvs-14-xls-elbit-g3tfwp/ The promotional pricing was $100 cheaper. But, that expired back at the end of July. |
